Immerse yourself in university life by living on campus. Each U of T campus has a range of housing options that will help you integrate into a fun, supportive and close-knit community at the University. Walk to classes, on-campus events, athletic facilities and libraries. Take part in movie nights, recreational sports events, study groups and club activities. And find convenient and helpful services, from healthy dining options and laundry facilities, to city tours and academic mentorships. Living in residence is a great way to kick off your university experience.
LIVING AT MISSISSAUGA
From shared apartments to private dorm rooms to newly renovated townhomes, U of T Mississauga has a residence experience made for you. Here, you can learn tips for success with a peer mentor, get ahead in your courses in a living-learning community, and make friends for life at social events throughout the year.
Game nights over tom yum, anyone? Half of our residence students are international; half come from communities across Canada. So, living here means you’ll live where the world comes together to belong.
LIVING AT ST. GEORGE
Located in the urban core of downtown Toronto, the U of T St. George campus residences provide students with a comfortable home-away-from-home. Whether you live in one of our campus’ seven colleges, in CampusOne, Chestnut Residence, Oak House, or Knox Residence, you will be able to experience a genuine community feeling within the country’s top research university. Each of the residence options has a distinctive character and legacy. Most have dormitory-type accommodation, while some have shared apartment-style or hotel-style units. Accessible accommodations are available.
LIVING AT SCARBOROUGH
Overlooking lush parklands on the eastern shoreline of Canadian’s most cosmopolitan city, U of T Scarborough’s closely knit residence communities are just steps from sustainably built facilities and state-of-the-art labs. A multicultural cornucopia, Scarborough is the perfect home base for crafting a business proposal, policy paper, or novel, while sealing the deal over Hakka noodles, banh mi, and bubble tea. Residence options include Harmony Commons (our first-year residence building), townhouses, and apartments for upper-year undergraduate students. The campus is conveniently located minutes away from transit, grocery stores, and malls, as well as scenic creeks and valleys.
1st Year Housing Guarantee
Residence is guaranteed for all new full-time students entering your first year of a postsecondary program for the first time, provided that you have indicated your interest in residence by completing the StarRez Portal application by March 31, and receive and accept an offer of admission by June 2.
