Engineering students work in the Norris Walker 5T7 Robotics Lab in the Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship, a unique two-storey drone atrium that is part of the U of T Robotics Institute—home to the largest and most diverse robotics research program in Canada

Kinesiology & Physical Education
Through inclusive excellence in research, teaching and practice, the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at U of T educates and graduates a diverse student body who become productive contributors and leaders in their fields. Our BKin students thrive in careers spanning the biophysical, psychological, physical, and cultural, including exercise physiology, psychology of injury and rehabilitation, ethical issues and biomechanics. Students benefit from hands-on learning, community engagement, research opportunities and learning abroad experiences, and can pursue a Certificate in Global Kinesiology & Physical Education or a Certificate In Physical Activity Instruction within their BKin degree. BKin students also have the opportunity to enroll in a combined Master of Teaching (MT) degree program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE).
KINections is all about helping students connect with each other and get involved beyond the classroom. An initiative of the Registrar’s Office, KINections presents curated virtual and on-campus activities that support wellness and connection, at KPE and with the local and global community.

For a close-knit classroom environment, explore our First-Year Foundations programs, including 200+ first-year seminars, each with fewer than 25 students. You’ll also have the chance to apply course concepts to real-world settings by participating in research projects, international exchanges, and paid work experiences.

Music
A degree in Music fosters critical thinking, discipline, and teamwork. Our alumni have gone on to score films, pioneer new technologies, and pack concert halls. Music students take part in a total of 600+ concerts and recitals each year. From Early Music, to Jazz, to West African Drumming and Dancing, to Japanese Taiko Drumming, we bring the diversity of Canada into the classroom.
